Tuition Free Preschool & Early Childhood Services

Our region has many early learning programs for children under five that are available at no cost to families. Explore offerings below, feel free to apply to learn if you may qualify. Have questions? Call (971) 990-5677 and we would be glad to help you! 

Early Head Start & Head Start

Early Head Start serves pregnant women and children birth to three. Head Start serves children ages 3 to 5.   The program is 100% free, and designed to:

  • Help families find resources in the community
  • Help parents gain positive parenting skills
  • Help children get ready for school

Preschool Promise

Through a grant from the state, Preschool Promise offers free, full-day preschool for 3 and 4-year-old children from income-eligible families, in a variety of classroom settings throughout Clackamas County.

Family Stepping Stones Relief Nursery

Lifeworks NW Gladstone Center -  

Relief nurseries serve children ages 0 to 5. Our Children’s Relief Nursery (CRN) programs strengthen families and our community by providing therapeutic classrooms, in-home visits, parenting support, and other services. All services are free and voluntary.
